At this significant event for tourism in Dâmbovița, the project initiators Valentin Calcan, Dana Calcan, Alexandru Calcan, Andreea Calcan, and the young Andrei Calcan were joined by the prefect of Dâmbovița County, Claudia Gilia, the president of the County Council, Corneliu Ștefan, the manager of Hotel Peștera, Oana Voicu, the chief inspector of the Dâmbovița Territorial Labor Inspectorate, Marius Lixandru, and the mayor of Moroeni commune, Laurențiu Moraru.

The cornerstone of the Peștera Wellness & Spa Hotel has been placed in a stainless steel time capsule at the base of the central pillar of the future reception.
"Today, on June 27, 2022, inspired by the desire to ensure a brighter future for the pastoral landscapes of the Bucegi Mountains, in the heart of which, for the past 100 years, alongside the age-old Peștera Ialomiței monastic settlement, the Peștera Hotel establishment traces the thread of its history, we sign this CORNERSTONE ACT. This is to remind future generations of the beginning of the construction of the new Peștera Hotel, which, under the protection of Saint Apostle Andrew, will be inaugurated in the year 2023 as a crowning achievement of the centenary of the existence of the first 'Shelter for Tourists,' 'Casa Peștera' (1923). Here, in Poiana Crucii, Moroeni commune, Dâmbovița county, we, the founders and contributors to this project, representatives of the ancestral Orthodox Church, county and local authorities, people who love the mountain beauties, history, culture, and the values of our Romanian nation.
